County, Pottowatomie, has closed for the next two weeks due to COVID-19 outbreak.  All matters in that County have been stayed for the next two weeks.  There are no additional restrictions/moratoriums at the State level for Oklahoma.

There is no specified foreclosure/eviction moratorium in the State. The state’s courts were closed to the public until May 18, 2020.   Individual county courts have slowly opened since.  The setting of hearings and sheriff’s sales has been delayed due to the backlog of cases due to the two month court closure.  It is anticipated that hearing will begin to be set in June and sheriff’s sales will begin to be set in July on those files not subject to the national moratorium.
